Overview
It is a 3 bladed down pumping axial flow impeller with more flow to power ratio than any other impeller. The geometry & profile of the blade is such that it gives improved axial flow & reduces power requirement upto 50% over a Pitch Blade Turbine for equal blending performance. Shear rates are modest for both high & low viscosity applications. Due to its high solidity design, it is generally recommended for high viscosity blending applications upto 60,000 cPs. Can also be used for a mix of shear & flow type applications.
