Process Overview
  • Nitration: Benzene reacts with nitric and sulfuric acid to produce nitrobenzene. Controlled exothermic reaction with acid recovery.
  • Hydrogenation: Nitrobenzene is reduced to aniline using hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst. Reactor systems designed for high selectivity and safety.
