Overview

In a Rising Film Evaporator, vapor bubbles generated during boiling create an upward force, causing the liquid and vapor to rise in a parallel flow. This action forms a thin climbing film on the inner surface of the tubes. The turbulence created ensures effective heat transfer, making this system suitable for viscous, moderately scaling, and heat-sensitive liquids.

A significant temperature gradient between the heating chest and the boiling chamber is essential to drive circulation and climbing film formation, which ensures process efficiency and consistent performance.
