What is Naphtha Stabilization?

Naphtha stabilization is the process of removing light hydrocarbons (C1–C4, H₂S, etc.) from raw or intermediate naphtha. This is done via fractionation in a stabilizer column, lowering the vapor pressure (RVP) and eliminating corrosive/volatile components to make the product safe for storage and transport.
